Supporting factors should always be included and in no way are they the end all of the statement. They only serve as a clarification and keep you focused on the steps needed to attain your desired goal.To make resume goal statements more effective, you can then add other supporting statements. For example, you can say 'My mentor, Dov Shaul, has recently started a new department in our organization'. You can also indicate why it is important for you to pursue your dream job and what reasons might be why you must do so.In addition to goal statements, you can also include two quotes in your resume. These quotes should be very short and should relate to your accomplishments, interests, work values and life values.The last thing that you must remember about resume goal statements is that you should keep them short and concise. If you continue with too many long statements, you will end up creating a big resume prob lem.Therefore, use resume goal statements as a guideline in order to give the reader an idea as to how your life is going to change when you get your dream job. Also, add a little bit of humor to your statements.
